Product Line: All products unless noted are water based and require dilution with water to recommended concentration. All are environmentally safe and easy to use. Please note the properties of various products. They are the key to what you can offer the customer. Many The below products offer properties for the type of garment the label is going into.
Plastiseals
Plastiseals are a line of patented Backcoating products that require a three roll machine. They range from soft to firm and are applied only to the back of the label leaving the face of the label in its original state. Plastiseals are unique in nature as they can add body to the label and keep the end folds stuck together, allowing easier sewing. Plastiseals come in a range of viscosities and have variable curing temperatures. These products vary from semi-durable to durable. No other
finishes can duplicate the degree of softness to firmness in backcoating type operations.
GM4
A combination of new technology involving clear films very good color stability and excel in durability. The products range from very soft to extremely stiff in "Hand". Sewing is greatly improved without chalking. GM Plus Series are applied by submersion and have become our most popular line. Eliminates blotching, yellowing, cracking, etc. due to further processing or upon aging. The GM Series eliminates these problems. Gm4 Plus has the ability to hide
background yarns from showing through the face of the label. Especially useful on labels with heavy yarn backgrounds.
Compro 604
Our new 604 offers properties unavailable to now. They incorporate a rubberized element so that the label or fabric won't mark off. Compro 604 is extremely durable to repeated washings and dry cleaning. The label or fabric will retain it's shape even under extreme heat. Other features are stain resistance, withstands alkali and acids, resistant to the elements, excels in color stability, resists bleeding, and they won't chalk.
The product is suitable for applications such as labels going into denim jeans, sportswear, ribbons, etc. The finishes range from soft to extremely firm. In fact, no other finish can match the durability to repeated washings.
Compro WO
A recently developed product that finds application in labels going into towels, sheets. etc. Compro WO is unique in that the finish will leave a very firm hand with the clearest film we've ever developed. Provides firmness for processing and then after normal washing, leaves a soft durable undercoat to protect the label. Most label companies use this product for labels going into towels, sheets, etc. The product also has the ability to reject certain dyes from going into
the label due to further processing such as stone washing etc.
Compro M-41
A
series of printing auxiliaries for labels and tapes. They are
submersible starches designed to seal the fabric with a special
coating to allow printing. The products are designed not to
yellow and to prevent bleeding of the ink. They also will not crack
under the printing process' curing heat and are compatible with all
types of ink. M-41 range from soft to medium to firm and exhibit other properties such as durability to repeated washings, flexibility, and very good color
stability.
Penetrant 55
A special system designed to allow more absorption of the products into the label or narrow fabric. Minimizes roller build up and ensures equal distribution into the fibers. Compatible with all the above products and it is cost efficient. Allows the finisher to use up to 10% less product and makes cleanup time faster. Prolongs life of the bath.
Antifoam
An antifoam agent to eliminate foam in the bath thereby eliminating caking and skimming in the bath. Non reactive ensuring compatibility with all of our products. Highly concentrated! Very small additions are required to eliminate the foam.
Compro SA
Compro SA is a auxiliary designed mainly for Slit edge Labels. The product takes a lot of the harshness out from the edges by putting on a flexible coating. The product's components have the ability to exhaust (penetrate) into the fibers while being cured and it leaves a durable, very soft, flexible film but with body.
Compro 6063
A new ribbon and narrow fabric finish that offers supreme durability, no mark-off, flexibility, and stain resistance. The product was designed to remain flexible even under cold weather. Ideal for ribbons, webbing etc. that will be exposed to outside elements. The finish can be exposed to acids and alkali, dry cleaning, bleach, salt water etc. without any deteriation.
Excellent film clarity. Available in soft to firm.
Compro FR63
Compro FR63 is a flame retardant for labels, holiday ribbons, narrow fabrics made from polyester that puts a medium flame retardant "hand" that is durable and flexible. Color is very good and offers good mechanical stability.
Compro 6312-60
This product can withstand high temperatures for labels exposed to heat processes. It also allows for cold knife cutting on die cut labels. The product can improve the speed of the machine as much as 25% because of it's very low curing temperature. It also ensures equal distribution throughout the fibers. Compro 6312-60 helps to eliminate problems with the bleeding of yarns, particularly reds and blues. Because of
it's firm but extremely flexible film makes it ideal for die cut labels and for ribbon applications. The product has the ability to seal the edges to prevent fraying. Developed for labels going into tee-shirts, dress shirts, etc. Will not react with yarn sizes and lubricants. Because this product cannot accept excess yarns dyes, it has the ability to form a film that excess yarn dyes cannot penetrate. 6312 -S is a very soft version of this product.
GH17
GH17 can significantly reject most dyes if the label is to be further
processed after finishing such as an acid wash, stone wash, etc. It is
even resistant to many enzymes. It is a two-polymer system whereby the
second polymer will exhaust into the fiber through heat on the drying
cans. The finish leaves a medium hand and excels in good color
retention.
Writing Finish
Writing Finish is a micro-emulsion finish developed for woven labels to
solve sensitive color problems in the finishing of woven labels. The
finish is a specialty acrylic designed to not react with residual yarn
sizes, winding oils, or dyes. Unlike other finishes it is nonionic and
has a low ph for yarns that were dyed on the acid side. Sensitive dyes
that would normally darken when finished are lessened with the use of
Writing Finish. It leaves a firm “hand” and once cured it is insoluble
in water, resistant to acids and alkali, bleaching agents, and won’t
discolor or crack under UV light. Writing finish can be used with a
variety of inks in printing with no mark off.
