Normally they would apply a finish or starch that would make it firm or soft. However, when the label goes through a stone washing process, the colors and yarn would quickly deteriorate. The same applies for a label going through garment dyeing. The label would generally pickup the same color as the garment. The companies that we work with know the finish.
