Penetrant 55

Penetrant 55 is a product designed to enhance the performance of finishing agents used in the label industry.

Penetrant 55 is a dispersing and penetrating agent that will keep fine divided particles in a dispersed state as well as increasing the penetration of various finishes. By doing the above, it has the ability to also slow down the build-up on rollers and drying cans. Bath stability and life are also increased. The product can keep excess oils and waxes emulsified so they will not redeposit on the yarn.

The product can increase sewing efficiency and reduce needle marks.

Application

Only very small amounts are needed. Add 2 ounces of Penetrant 55 per 5 gallons of mix in the finishing bath. If foam is a problem, add one ounce of Defoamer, especially if chalking is present.
