Compro M-41 A & B

Compro M-41 A & B are water-based, thermosetting, urethane polymer finishing auxiliary used by companies such as Paxar, Dah Mei, Labeltex, CM Offray, RVL and others. The product was developed for satin tapes, ribbons, labels, etc. involving various printing techniques on all types of fibers. It can also be used on printed or woven synthetics going through additional processes like stone washing, garment washing, etc. For processes involving pumice use the firm formulation. The product leaves a soft to firm hand with greater tensile strength, colorfastness, and washfastness than any other conventional finish. In fact, once treated, it remains durable and can withstand unlimited dry cleanings and repeated washings. This product provides superior ink stability unlike any product on the market. When combined with Thermacryl-96, it will provide dye rejection to additional processes where the tape or label can pick up excess dye. If greater firmness is needed, increasing the finish will increase firmness. Final cure and firmness occurs in 12 hours.

Compro M-41 A & B

Application

To apply Compro M-41A & B, dilute with warm water to desired concentration. For adding dye rejection properties to the formula, add 3% Thermacryl-96 to the mix. Adjustments can be made for softness or Firmness. Curing temperature is 280 Degrees F. Goods should remain in contact for 2 ½ to 3 minutes depending on equipment.
